This summer TABCO is hiring member organizers for the following roles: TABCO Contract Action Team (CAT) Captains and Parent Organizers. We need you to join us in this work to strengthen our union and grow our connections to our communities!
We are organizing to engage members to work for reduced workload, improved contract language concerning leave, and better pay.
Member organizing positions will consist of 40 hours at $20 per hour for two weeks of summer work and potential year-round organizing (YRO) for an additional stipend. Candidates will be required to be available for training and work in person at the TABCO office in Towson from July 10 – 14 AND July 17 – 21, 2023 from 1-5 p.m.
The first day of work, July 10, will consist of a required training from 1-4 p.m. followed by work hours from 4-7 p.m.
When we build our capacity- through member networks and community engagement- we advance our ability to win for ourselves, our families, and the children we serve. But without you, we cannot do that. Be a part of it this critical work!
