It is essential that we have data to share in order for us to advocate for compensation for missed lunches. We are asking each nurse to do the following for the weeks of 12/31 and 2/7:
- Schedule a 30-min lunch into your day when you believe it would be most appropriate
- Notify your administrator(s), secretaries, and any other pertinent staff that you will be taking lunch during this period of time
- Leave your office or lock your door at the start of your lunch break
- Document daily on the provided spreadsheet if your lunch was interrupted or you were unable to take a lunch break, and the reason(s)
